Michel Savoie emerged from the wilds of Northern Ontario having studied Computer Engineering and quickly found his way into the emerging field of Social Media. Michel has been with RBC Royal Bank for 6 years, and true to the nature of his Gen Y peers, has held 5 different positions.
Currently, Michel is Manager of Client Strategy for the 18 to 30 demographic where he regularly consults on Social Media and Online strategy to business partners. In his spare time, Michel enjoys Social Media, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, cooked to a medium-rare. He also moonlights as a movie set photographer and is an avid outdoorsman. He once shot at an albino Moose and missed.
Michel has spoken on the topics of corporate social media and innovation at conferences such as “Social Media for Government” and can be found out and about on any given night of the week at some event happening somewhere in Toronto, which he calls home.
